It’s little wonder that many of us find Christmas a stressful time, and put environmental considerations to the back of our minds.

You may not realise it but your Christmas celebrations may not just dent your bank account, but the environment too. The various ingredients of an average Christmas lunch may have travelled a total of 38,000km by the time they get to your plate, whilst six million Christmas trees and up to a billion Christmas cards end up in the bin each year.
